Winter is an etching,
spring a water colour,
summer an oil painting
and autumn a mosaic of them all.
TODAY: ‘In the awakening dawn, the breezes flow through ancient shards of right and wrong to speak to your heart’
A warm and delicious day. Is Summer back?
IN ONE WORD: Acceptance
“echinacea, dandelion, tansy, lungwort and other herbs grow in profusion along the pathways
and I am amazed that the herbs can be gathered so abundantly and freely,
not like at home, where I have to search for herbs that are so common here”
COLOUR OF THE DAY: Rainbows of colour…
HOW I FEEL: “Some sacred places can help you on your journey of self-discovery, Glastonbury is that place…” Ashtara
Placing my feet on the sacred earth of Glastonbury, off I went for glorious stroll in the sunshine to melt away the cobwebs of my 10-day ‘health ordeal…’ Perhaps a little over zealous, yes, for I am weak and shaky…Yet, I felt blessed – free and safe in this magical place, which allows time for reflection, understanding and healing.
PHYSICALLY: One day at a time…
INSIGHTS: ‘The spirits and places…memory of Avalon…whispered during quiet moments, on dark nights and when the Glastonbury women of today are singing and ‘being’ together.’
Its as if there is a deeper knowing of the power that this year brings. This time it is about definite change and not all of those changes, shifts and realisations are going to be pleasant to see, feel, watch, or to experience. For that reason we need to take as much quiet time and alone time as possible. We need to embrace alone time rather than fear it, we need to allow those ’empty’ times to be restful, calm, nourishing and spiritual. Listen to your heart and you will realise the Truth of this opportunity!
“The tangle of blackberries and nettles among the apple trees were more spiritual to me than walking the Tor.
The frosty grass and crisp morning to me,
feels like something that must have been a past life”
THE COLLECTIVE: ‘Now is the perfect time to go for your dream! Commit yourself to it. Pursue it with passion! Grab hold of it with all your heart and do not let go!’
The world is at war, different countries, differing groups, individuals, youngsters, teens, entire families and some are at war with themselves! What we must begin to understand is that ALL this is a combination of ‘the old’ ways of ‘being’ dropping away.
And what we are observing is those who are really hanging on tight, with what feels like is theirs alone to have and hold or, it is because they feel safer with the old and familiar. Life is like a tug of war with the Old and New World…
Blessed are you
who comes like a whisper
in my breath
and spreads images of
majesty before me.
