Dear Friends, close to the end of the Mayan calendar in 2012 Carlos Barrios, a Guatemalan anthropologist, spiritual guide and member of the World Council of Mayan Elder, spoke up about the meaning and unfolding of the time after “the end of time”. He predicted that in order to collectively manifest the Golden Age of […]
‘Spirits across the moon cast night,
Shadows above the tree tops high.
I hear the songs of a distant past,
As my heart beats quickly and fast…’
I could not resist selecting ‘VEIL OF AVALON’ as today’s suggested Essence, on my Facebook – Colour Matrix Page…Yesterday the energies here, felt powerful, overwhelming at times.
I felt it all day, and there were moments, when the tears flowed…my heart felt wide open. And last night I sensed the many levels and layers of reality floating through my house. At times I felt unsettled.
Earlier in the day, after much rain, a magnificent bright Rainbow arced over the Glastonbury Tor. It felt intense and magical! Yet, I woke today, to a dense misty day…everything felt shrouded, hidden…it was truly mystical…
At the time of Wesak (20-22May), when the veil is thinnest, we are able to go deeper into the mystery.
I noticed last night too, other levels of life moving through my home…I sensed other dimensions, and felt other beings. At times it was eerily still and there were moments when I saw veiled beings…
The magic of living in Avalon…
Your worthiness is not determined by what others feel or say about you, but
“Above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.”
TODAY: Its early, the air outside it very fresh and clear. But there is a chill; soft, moist, gentle and silent. The sky is softly pink, the first birds have landed in the courtyard to feed. Life is good. I feel at peace with my world.
IN ONE WORD: Gentleness
COLOUR OF THE DAY: Leafy Green
HOW I FEEL: “A new life will slowly unfold…allow it to be so. Let each day bring to you new experiences and most of all, let the love shine through you and radiate out to all those around you.”
My path is becoming a more deeply spiritual life, each day, quite solitary, but the energy of Glastonbury and ‘free-spirit attitude’ here (I am a city girl actually), has allowed me the time and space to do a level of inner work, I never anticipated…
During this year, I have at last fully understood the reasons and the purpose of me moving down from London, to live in Glastonbury, 8 years ago. And you know, if feels as if I have been here for eternity, and then there are days when I feel as if I have only recently arrived, and I am still settling in…Ah, the mystery and magic of Avalon…
“I have stepped onto a new Timeline and I wait there, resting for the out-breath of God…” Ashtara
INSIGHTS: Be aware of your own limits. I feel that we are all, only now, getting our ‘second wind.’ This year has been challenging in very different ways from what we have known and understood. I am sensing that we are finally beginning to regain balance and strength. But, there will be days when we feel overtired, overwhelmed, too weak to go about your usual routine. When you feel this, stop, rest, be kind, allow yourself time to regroup and refresh.
THE COLLECTIVE: Your holy heart, when you begin to feel it fully, will invite you into pain you have long ago locked away. First, your own personal unresolved anguish. Then, the collective pain of all you have forgotten: a history remembered by the stardust in your cells, the rust in your bones. And you will want to close it. You will want to lock it all back up again, but this you mustn’t do, because underneath that is your perfect love waiting for its chance to change your life.*
AFFIRMATION:”I AM powerful, loving and unafraid…”
Behold the beauty of your Earth plane existence! Yes, there will be bumps and bruises, scrapes and falls. But, through it all, there are moments of wonder and awe and
Winter is an etching, spring a water colour,
summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all.
TODAY: ‘In the awakening dawn, the breezes flow through ancient shards of right and wrong to speak to your heart’
A warm and delicious day. Is Summer finally here? I wonder…
This Blog was written in 2014, yet as my eyes re-read these words, it resonated with my day and I felt compelled to share it once more…with a few additions…
ONE WORD: Acceptance
COLOUR OF THE DAY: Summer colours
HOW I FEEL: “Some sacred places can help you on your journey of self-discovery, Glastonbury is that place…”
Placing my feet on the sacred earth of Glastonbury, off I went for glorious stroll in the sunshine to melt away the cobwebs of my winter…Perhaps less enthusiastically than usual, for I am weaker this year and still shaky after several months of ill health…
Yet, how blessed I feel! Free and safe in this magical place, which allows time for reflection, understanding and healing.
PHYSICALLY: One day at a time…
INSIGHTS: ‘The spirits and places…memory of Avalon, whispered during quiet moments, on dark nights and when the Glastonbury women of today are singing and ‘being’ together.’
Its as if there is a deeper knowing of the power that this year brings. This time it is about definite change! I know that not all of those changes, shifts and realisations are going to be pleasant to see, to feel, to watch, or to act upon. For that reason – we need to take as much quiet time and alone time as possible. We need to embrace alone time rather than fear it, we need to allow those ’empty’ hours to be restful, calm, nourishing and spiritual. Listen to your heart and you will realise the truth of such opportunities!
THE COLLECTIVE: Why not make the decision today to go for your dream? Commit yourself to it. Pursue it with passion! Grab hold of it with all your heart and do not let go!
The world is at war – different countries, differing groups, individuals, youngsters, teens, entire families and some are at war with themselves! And what we are observing is those who are hanging on tight, with what they believe to be theirs alone, to take, to have and hold, or it is because they feel safer with ideas and beliefs, that are old and tired and well past their ‘sell by date’, yet still feel perhaps too familiar.
Blessed are you
who comes like a whisper
in my breath
and spreads images of
majesty before me.
