‘For what is it to die, but to stand in the sun and melt into the wind?
And when the Earth has claimed our limbs,
Then we shall truly dance.’
TODAY: Grey, dull, unsheltered, cold. Winter in all her glory.
I woke to a very icy morning. The world was carpeted in thin ice. The roof white and gleaming. The bare trees covered in little frosty icicles. There was early damp mist. I put the kettle on…
ONE WORD: Acceptance – of the ‘such-ness’ of life
COLOUR: Red – Gold
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
I find myself holding back and observing. Saying less but feeling more. Being more of who I am. Surrendering to ‘just being’ and allowing life to unfold around me. There are synchronicities, insights, clearer understanding, along with minor irritations at the things I do not yet understand or accept, as my truth. Discernment required.
The writing of my book based on my extraordinary childhood in Africa, is complete. I am busy with proofreading and re-writing sections, preparing for professional editing.
And though we seem to be sleeping,
there is an inner wakefulness that directs the dream,
that will eventually startle us back to the Truth of who we are.
Slow and lethargic interspersed with vibrant upbeat inquisitive energy.
Taking time to do ‘no-thing.’ No longer fighting it. This too shall pass…It’s similar to rebooting a computer. A need to shut down for brief periods of time, in order to load new software.
‘We need time to replenish
trusting that the inner journey has removed the masks
and will eventually reveal a face that is more our own.’
I know, I understand, I accept, I honour, I see, I hear, I ponder…
I believe in Divine Timing and feel that All That Is knows exactly what’s coming next. Perhaps a time to sit quietly and reflect, or simply rest a while…before a new year begins.
“We need to make deep and profound changes in the way we live,
if we want future generations to inherit from us a viable planet.”
I trust that we are all doing the best we can at this point in time, with what we know and understand to be truth. As we look around at our world and the greater world ‘out there’ it certainly seems to be in chaos, but I do believe that all of the old ways must break away before we will be able to rebuild our world. This was been said since ancient times.
The balance of power will be restored, negative and positive will finally align on planet earth. Not today, or tomorrow, but slowly and surely. I do believe it will…
I am thankful that I share this planet with you. Like minds make us feel less lonely.
AFFIRMATION: “All is well in my world…”
