About Me

All my life I have yearned…

For a period of 15 years, I was the Principle of a well-known Academy in South Africa, the ‘Academy of Holistic Therapies’ which over time transformed into a place of spiritual and personal development, known then as the ‘Centre of Creative Consciousness’. My life changed when I moved to England quite suddenly. I was then invited to Dublin to do a brief TV appearance and a series of talks. This ‘snowballed’ into 4 intense years of ‘work’ in Ireland.

Not long after my arrival in England and working at an unrealistic pace, I developed heart issues. What followed was a 7 year period of illness, then (almost) death and rebirth. I was led through an intense period of introspection. Through this experience, including 2 near death experiences, I was forced to make huge choices –

I decided to step into a ‘new life’, which included a need to develop a deeper understanding of who I AM. The near death experiences ‘fine tuned’ my senses and intensified my ability to tap into higher realms, with many extraordinary experiences, which continue today. This was daunting at the time. I became very interested in all spiritual and religious subjects, both ancient and new. I had many questions and a compelling desire for answers and learning…

The next phase of my journey also began 7 years ago. I moved to Glastonbury, believing at the time, that the reason for this move was to discover what I was searching for. Instead it has been an even deeper level of my own unfolding. Living an almost solitary life, I have found a very different ‘myself.’  I became deeply drawn to Mother Mary and Magdalene who became a ‘guiding light.’ All of this moved at a very rapid pace, taking me through many powerful changes, releasing the past, deep forgiveness, and ultimately nurturing and guiding myself back and beyond all the hurdles and challenges, to a place of deep understanding and peace…This has allowed a very rich and beautiful connection to develop within, with All That Is, and an ability to tap into reservoirs of knowledge and wisdom, never before accessed.

During this time in Glastonbury, where the veil is thin and intense energies abide, I have realised that I enjoy being a ‘modern day Alchemist’ with a real passion for working with colour, potions, tinctures, aromatics, oils, energy, sound, and vibrations. I was guided by Spirit to create a range of high vibrational colour essences, now known as the Colour Matrix System. I see these ‘jewels’ as the unfolding of a sacred ‘story’ yet to be revealed. They are a wonderful tool to support and assist those seeking real changes, as they continue their own journey of self discovery.

I care deeply about our planet, the animal kingdom and all sentient Beings during this time of Spiritual Evolution on Earth. I am an accredited facilitator of ‘Attitudinal Healing’ and ‘Transformational Therapy’ (WTP U.S.A. Diplomas), Reiki Master Teacher, Reflexology Teacher, Colour Specialist (Aura Soma Adv. Dip.), Motivational Speaker, and I am an Ordained Interfaith Minister.

    • Yes, exactly…without going deep within, on a voyage of self discovery, we are unable to fully comprehend All That Is and who we truly are in essence. Blessings x

  7. Hello there, I found your site by means of
Google even as looking for a related matter, your web site came up, it looks good.

  8. Thanks for sharing what you went through, dear Ashtara. Your experience is both profound and beautiful.

What intrigues me is your being in Glastonbury. I didn’t know where Glastonbury was until 2 months ago. Since then, I met virtually 3 people who are based in that town. That is amazing…perhaps a sign I should come visit one day, from over the pond (I am based in New Jersey).

    Love & Light my dear

  9. U Welcome

  10. My dear Ashtara, I so enjoyed getting to know you better through your open sharing about your Path. Thank you.

    • Thank you dearest Kara…for taking the time to read ‘about me’…I must add; it had to be cut down a lot, because my ‘journey’ has had many more twists and turns along the way…One day when you do finally get to Glastonbury, I am sure we will have much to share. Love xo

  11. Unfortuitously lots of people have jumped on the net advertising
bandwagon and several so called specialists on the market are real sharks.

    • I do believe there are many out there, who with honest intent, wish to assist others in what ever way they can. Putting everyone in one basket is limiting your view of ‘so called specialists’.
Personally I have had life-changing and memorable experiences from Therapists and Healers, alike.
Teaching and sharing knowledge for 20 years, was a gift and a privilege.
Having an open mind and an open heart, goes a long way towards creating a better world for us all. Blessings, Ashtara

  15. I too had a health scare in 2015, a heart attack, but I had been expecting it 10 years ago, once I found out I had a lot of plaque. With a total of 4 stents, I feel I’ve been given a second change. I too have been interested in spiritual subjects for a long time, I think that’s why I enjoy your posts on FB.
