A Second Wind…

Far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see the beauty, believe in them and try to follow where they lead.
 Louisa May Alcott

TODAY:

A cooler morning. Fine mist above the taller trees. I see fine wet cobwebs…The day feels soft and delicate. Or is that me.

ONE WORD: Gratitude

COLOUR: Green

I FEEL:

I have thought often of my Blog page and those who follow my posts. I want to apologise for not writing any recent Blogs…but where has this year gone. We seem to have travelled though time at supersonic speed.

I have faced many challenges this year so far, physically and emotionally. It has been that way for many. A year of change with no more sitting on the fence.

I have also reworked and polished my book about my childhood in S.Africa during apartheid, (yet to be published). There was more work there than I thought when I typed the last word! I am doing my final read/edit and am happy with it. It has taken 18 months to complete. It has been cathartic in many ways and a real struggle too. Who would have thought!

“It is by going down into the abyss that we recover the treasures of life.

Where you stumble, there lies your treasure.”

Joseph Campbell

My path has become a deeply spiritual life and for that reason, solitary…The energy of Glastonbury and the ‘free-spirit’ attitude (I am a city girl at heart), has allowed me time and space to do a deep level of inner work. While writing it became clear why I am here at all…I often wondered.

INSIGHTS: The final months this year will continue to challenge and surprise us all. Be aware of your own limits. Many of us need time out to find a ‘second wind.’  There will be days when we feel overtired, overwhelmed, too lethargic to go about our usual routine…I have learnt to pay attention to my needs and rest. I hope you do the same.

Trusting Uncertainty…

TODAY: Dull, dense, static, waiting, chilly, damp.

I feel an undercurrent of slow yet unsettled energies here.

ONE WORD: Acceptance

COLOUR: Lilac

I FEEL: Although I wrote most of this Blog two years ago, I came upon it yesterday, and felt that is was still relevant to our lives now!

A few of you know I have begun writing my first book.
This is taking much of my focus for the moment. I am at the beginning stages, with only 10,000 words written so far. I have often been asked to write the story of my life or a Study Book on Colour Therapy and Reflexology, which I taught for 10 years.

I have always declined the idea, claiming that I don’t have the right mindset or intellect to write a whole book. Then one morning something in my head clicked into place and I actually wanted to begin writing. And I did.

At the same time, I have several new exciting Colour Keys* Essences about to be created, poured and introduced!

Whenever we move through such intense times, it is important to remember to balance, balance, balance. Get grounded however that works for you. Be sure to get out into nature. Get present.

What I am seeing most is that people are too distracted to know how they feel. The distractions will not stop so it is up to us to find ways to maintain our inner balance. Some things are easy to do.

Watch less news, back away from the computers, phones, and other technologies that are consuming you. Get back to interpersonal relationships. Spend time with people you love. Call those you haven’t. Reconnect. Seriously.

you have done all the work needed, just live now, know that you have succeeded. It is done!”

THE COLLECTIVE: “We are in a time when so much is happening so fast, life is speeding by us and we are becoming so desensitised that we don’t know how we feel.” Dr. Meg Blackburn Losey

“All that is transpiring now on this planet is the collapse of all that is false, and all that does not serve. There is a new sun, there is a new day, there is a new and fresh air to be breathed.” Ashtara

We are all adjusting to many new energise, vibrations, technological advancements and different every day occurrences, which is subtly changing our reality.

Our bodies are struggling to keep up and there is often inner spiritual conflict and emotional turmoil, interchanged with a need to escape it all with bouts of masked almost mechanical actions All this while we are upgrading and uploading our own frequency to a higher expression of humanity and a different way of being here on Earth. This will not take place over night as some wish us to believe, but will be ongoing for the next several year.
