The Winds of Change Continue…

TODAY:

“The tangle of blackberries and nettles among the apple trees were more spiritual to me than walking the Tor. The frosty grass and crisp morning feels like something that must have been a past life”

Its a cool hazy day, my narrow view of the Abbey Orchard is peeping through the tall trees, the abundance of blossoms in the early morning haze, seem to be twinkling. The Starlings, Blue-Tits and House Sparrows are fetching food eagerly from the feeders for their young. Two juvenile Squirrels are darting back and forth over my wall to fetch peanuts. Life is good.

ONE WORD: Gratitude

COLOUR TODAY: Rose Pink

HOW I FEEL:

“If you can find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn’t lead anywhere.”

Most of my Blog followers are not aware that I am in the process of writing a book. My first. This has taken much of my attention and focus over the past few months. To be honest, although encouraged for a very long time, especially by my dear friend Michael in Oregon, I did not believe I had it in me to write and complete a book. To date I am beyond the half way mark, much to my surprise. I have enjoyed the process as the story has poured forth with ease…And its not related to any of the several Therapies I taught over many years, but more of an autobiography, highlighting the many intriguing characters who passed through my life from childhood.

PHYSICALLY:

‘I am strong because I know my weaknesses.

I’m alive because I’m a fighter.

I am wise because I’ve been foolish.

I laugh because I’ve known sadness…’

I have been in ill health on and off for about two to three months and it has taken much of my vitality. There have been days when it has seemed never ending and too great a challenge to endure, but in the past two days, though not out of the woods yet, I sense in my body a strengthening and some real improvement.

INSIGHTS:

‎”Even when you think you have your life all mapped out, things happen that shape your destiny in ways you might never have imagined.” Deepak Chopra

We live in uncertain and ever changing times, that is evident. We don’t wish to judge or over react, but there is fear, lack of clarity and too many changes to what was familiar in our community or culture and that is challenging for many to reconcile or accept. Our minds, bodies and daily lives are or will be affected.
‘The wind shows us how close to the edge we are.’
Joan Didion

THE COLLECTIVE:

‎’It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.’
Henry David Thoreau

Focus on what you love to do, where you love to be and live that way. Encourage those around you to move more strongly towards what is meaningful and satisfying. Close your mind to the daily overload and overwhelm of false news, bad news and political agendas.

Uplift yourself to new heights and focus on a clear vision of how you wish your life to be, and go in that direction. Let go of what disturbs, upsets or bothers you…Read books that inspire and uplift, play music that touches your heart and soul, eat carefully, sleep earlier, rest often play more and smile. Keep you energy clear, your heart open and your mind uncluttered. That is what I have decided, is the best way forward for myself.

“There are those days when it’s hard to put one foot in front of the other,

but those are the days when champions are created.”

AFFIRMATION: “I happy, health, wealthy and wise…”

Give thanks to those who have secured their Awakening; their example will light your way now too.
Remember always, you are here to grow…
You are here to learn.
Keep asking questions.
Live your life with Wonder.
Love one another.
And forever and ever,
Shine on.

The Gracious Flow of Life…

10620593_874364112584224_2503962816010911991_n

I am part of the sun as my eye is part of me.

That I am part of the earth my feet know perfectly, and my blood is part of the sea.

There is not any part of me that is alone and absolute except my mind,

and we shall find that the mind has no existence by itself,

it is only the glitter of the sun on the surfaces of the water.
D. H. Lawrence

TODAY: Glorious English Summer day! Bright light, blue skies and warm sunshine…

IN ONE WORD: Perserverence

COLOUR OF THE DAY: The softness of Roses…Pinks.

HOW I FEEL:

“No matter how dark the night…

somehow the sun rises once again and all shadows are chased away…”

Each day I step forward one foot in front of the other, becoming distinctly aware that I am leaving another life behind me…and treading a new path. And yet, I feel as if I am waiting for a signal…What I used to think was true is no longer there…

PHYSICALLY:

“If you don’t take care of your body, where will you live?”

I woke in the early hours with severe colic/cramp/diverticulitis…which has continued into today…I felt too limp to go out and enjoy the sunny day…This too shall pass.

INSIGHTS:

When your life awakens and you begin to sense the destiny that brought you here,

you endeavour to live a life that is generous and worthy

of the blessing and invitation that is always calling you.
John O’Donohue

In a short space of time ‘dramas’ will become of less interest to you and will slowly fade from your reality. Life will take on a new ‘feeling’, a new ‘energy’ and you will sense a loving and gracious flow in the rhythm of your daily life…Ashtara

THE COLLECTIVE:

In ordinary life we hardly realize that we receive a great deal more than we give,

and that it is only with gratitude that life becomes rich.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Judge not what you have to give, just GIVE it. Too much time is wasted weighing up the pros and cons. Let your actions be spontaneous, prompted by the freedom of the spirit and not carefully calculated and worked out. Let go, enjoy life, and let SOUL work through you.

Beginning to Mend…

as full of peril as of wonder,

a place where anything could happen.”
