Thank the Stars…

blog-thankfulness

“I’m still thanking all the Stars, one by one.” Marissa Meyer.

TODAY: Its a clear crisp morning, but it’s icy cold! The sky is bright and the sun is out and when in the full sun, the heat is delicious! Yet it feels very cold, even indoors with the heating on…I have just added another layer.

IN ONE WORD: Thankfulness –

“If you can only be thankful for the blue sky, then do so.” Richelle E Goodrich

COLOUR OF THE DAY: Shades of Winter

Life seems to be moving forward at an even faster pace, weeks feel like days, weekends gone in the blink of an eye…or is it me? My days are full, insightful, varied and filled with “aha” moments…Each day lived at my own pace, in my own way. I am in a new place in every possible way…the ‘spiritual avalanche’ is over…I AM…What a journey this is, what an honour, with intense learning in every possible moment.

PHYSICALLY: Feeling more settled, stable and whole! You?

INSIGHTS: “Every inner journey begins with the desire to change and to be the best you can be.”
by Robyn Groves

We need to settle down, surrender to all that is new, all that is coming. Bless this time we have here on Earth. We are key players in a game that we chose to explore and live through. Do not rush, there is no need…enjoy this time, each step is a monumental event!

THE COLLECTIVE: “You can change the place you live, your clothes, your interests, your friends, your religion and even your partner. However, if you forgot to change your mind, attitude, beliefs about the world, how you treat people and how you plan to be different this time around, why did you even bother?”

Shannon L Alder

There is nothing I need to add to that…

AFFIRMATION: “Thank you, Thank you, Thank you…”

“And in the end we are just that: delightfully and magically human.”

The Heart of Winter…

THE HEART OF WINTER

“Within the grip of winter, it is almost impossible to imagine the spring.

The grey perished landscape is shorn of colour.

Only bleakness meets the eye; everything seems severe and edged.

Winter is the oldest season; it has some quality of the absolute.

Yet beneath the surface of winter, the miracle of spring is already in preparation; the cold is relenting; seeds are wakening up. Colours are beginning to imagine how they will return.

Then, imperceptibly, somewhere one bud opens and the symphony of renewal is no longer reversible.

From the black heart of winter a miraculous, breathing plenitude of colour emerges.”

John O’Donohue – Benedictus
