Masters of War…

Come you masters of war

You that build all the guns

You that build the death planes

You that build all the bombs

You that hide behind walls

You that hide behind desks

I just want you to know

I can see through your masks.

You that never done nothin’

But build to destroy

You play with my world

Like it’s your little toy

You put a gun in my hand

And you hide from my eyes

And you turn and run farther

When the fast bullets fly.

Like Judas of old

You lie and deceive

A world war can be won

You want me to believe

But I see through your eyes

And I see through your brain

Like I see through the water

That runs down my drain.

You fasten all the triggers

For the others to fire

Then you set back and watch

When the death count gets higher

You hide in your mansion

As young people’s blood

Flows out of their bodies

And is buried in the mud.

You’ve thrown the worst fear

That can ever be hurled

Fear to bring children

Into the world

For threatening my baby

Unborn and unnamed

You ain’t worth the blood

That runs in your veins.

How much do I know

To talk out of turn

You might say that I’m young

You might say I’m unlearned

But there’s one thing I know

Though I’m younger than you

That even Jesus would never

Forgive what you do.

The-Outsider

Let me ask you one question

Is your money that good

Will it buy you forgiveness

Do you think that it could

I think you will find

When your death takes its toll

All the money you made

Will never buy back your soul.

And I hope that you die

And your death’ll come soon

I will follow your casket

In the pale afternoon

And I’ll watch while you’re lowered

Down to your deathbed

And I’ll stand over your grave

’Til I’m sure that you’re dead.

Follow Your Dreams…

10300888_777053445646276_8206813749812338657_n

If in the twilight of memory we should meet once more,

we shall speak again together and you shall sing to me a deeper song.

And if our hands should meet in another dream

we shall build another tower in the sky.

~Kahlil Gibran~

TODAY: I woke to a cool yet comforting day…clouds with a blue sky peeping through…

ONE WORD: Majestic

COLOUR OF THE DAY: Deep rose and violet

HOW I FEEL: What an extraordinary time! What a profound few days I have had. I am still integrating it all, almost in a slight haze of the experiences…Last night I felt a profound sense of being truly Blessed.

INSIGHTS: It is a time to rejoice a time to sing and a time to pray…To sit alone in silence and be all of who you are, have come here to be, and are becoming from this day forth.

Follow your Dreams…”

Tara

THE COLLECTIVE: Let each day bring to you new experiences and most of all, let the love shine through you and radiate out to all those around you…Live more fully, even in those moments of silence or aloneness, know and understand that you are fuller, richer, and closer to your Creator than you have even been. Let a new breath of God lift you higher and breath you forward – towards what it is you always dreamed of…

AFFIRMATION: I AM love, you are love, we are love…

“If you do not breathe through writing,

if you do not cry out in writing,

or sing in writing,

then don’t write,

because our culture has no use for it.”

Outside Looking In…

On_the_turning_away_by_IronKender

“Admit it. You aren’t like them. You’re not even close.

You may occasionally dress yourself up as one of them, watch the same mindless television shows as they do,

maybe even eat the same fast food sometimes.

But it seems that the more you try to fit in, the more you feel like an outsider,

watching the “normal people” as they go about their automatic existences.

The-Outsider

For every time you say club passwords like “Have a nice day” and “Weather’s awful today, eh?”,

you yearn inside to say forbidden things like “Tell me something that makes you cry” or

“What do you think deja vu is for?”.

Face it, you even want to talk to that girl in the elevator.

But what if that girl in the elevator

(and the balding man who walks past your cubicle at work) are thinking the same thing?

lookingback

Who knows what you might learn from taking a chance on conversation with a stranger?

Everyone carries a piece of the puzzle.

Nobody comes into your life by mere coincidence.

Trust your instincts.

Do the unexpected.

Find the others…”
